Geography

Lorentz National Park stretches from the snow-capped peaks of the Sudirman Mountains to the tropical lowlands of the south coast. It includes the Carstensz Pyramid (Puncak Jaya), the highest peak in Indonesia and one of the few places in the tropics with permanent glaciers.
