Mount Tambora

Mount Tambora is the site of the largest volcanic eruption in recorded history (1815). A 4,300-meter stratovolcano that exploded with such force that it changed the global climate. It is a reminder of the power of the hidden realm beneath the earth. The eruption caused the “Year Without a Summer” in 1816, leading to crop failures across Europe and North America. Some believe that the eruption opened a gateway to the the-forth-realm, and that the global cooling was a sign of the mana-curse spreading beyond the archipelago.

Gunung Tambora adalah lokasi letusan gunung berapi terbesar dalam sejarah tercatat (1815). Stratovolcano setinggi 4.300 meter yang meledak dengan kekuatan yang mengubah iklim global, pengingat akan kekuatan alam gaib di bawah bumi. Letusan ini menyebabkan “Tahun Tanpa Musim Panas” pada tahun 1816, menyebabkan gagal panen di seluruh Eropa dan Amerika Utara.
