The Southern Refuge

Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park is the southernmost park in the Barisan mountain chain[reference:19]. It is one of the three parks that comprise the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra[reference:20], and it is a last refuge for three of the world’s most endangered mammals.
