The Van Mook Plan was a proposal by Dr. Hubertus van Mook, the Dutch Lieutenant Governor-General, to create a federal state in Indonesia. The plan was designed to fragment the Republic of Indonesia and maintain Dutch influence, and it was ultimately rejected by the Republic.
