The Batang Industrial Park (Industropolis Batang) is Indonesia’s largest state-owned special economic zone — a 4,300-hectare industrial city in Central Java, inaugurated in March 2025.[reference:17][reference:18]
The Vision
President Prabowo Subianto has expressed the ambition of making Batang “Indonesia’s Shenzhen” — a hub of manufacturing, innovation, and economic growth.[reference:19]
