The Thorny Battle
Perang Pandan (Pandan War) is a ritual battle performed annually in the village of Tenganan, East Bali. The participants fight with thorny pandan leaves and shields made of bamboo and rattan, shedding blood as an offering to the spirits of the sea.

The Offering
