Gunung Lokon

Mount Lokon is an active stratovolcano in North Sulawesi, near the city of Manado. It is one of the most active volcanoes in the region, with significant eruptions recorded in 1829, 1991, and 2011. The volcano is a sacred site for the Minahasa people, who believe that the mountain is home to ancestral spirits.
